Grammys 2016

I know I'm a little late on posting about the Grammys 2016, but hey Fashion Police is going to air today! 

While we were all looking at Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez as best friend goals, no one talked about Ellie Gouldings dress. 

Sure it looked simple from the front, but have you seen the back when she turns round in that Stella McCartney dress; those chains give her dress a little more of an edge and is a definite change from the soft baby pink.

AMA 2015

Sunday night was a big night for the Hollywood stars as they got all glammed up for the American Music Awards, and between Kendall Jenner's bangs and J.Lo's multiple outfit changes, there were quite a few looks that I had my eyes on.

While stars like Nina Dobrev and Ashley Benson chose to play it safe on the red carpet (not pictured), the AMA's (in my opinion) is a chance to have fun and take a risk with your outfit selection and change it up, like the ladies below did, or more specifically like Ciara!

If I had to pick, I'd say Gigi Hadid wins best dressed in her custom Bao Tranchi white crop top and skirt but then you look at Ciara in a see-through Reem Acra, and you start to change your mind a little. 

Aside from the dresses, can we talk about Kendall Jenner's bangs and Gigi Hadid's bob, these two models and bestie's are killing it with their looks from head-to-toe! 

Now while the ladies above stole the spotlight on the red carpet, J.Lo stole the show with her many changing outfits, each one better than the next! 

The top three looks are by far my favourite on her, especially that red sequinned dress that just reminds me of Christmas! Would definitely be a show stopper at Christmas dinner! 

I'm sitting her talking about Christmas dinner, while J.Lo's reminding us going to the gym pays off! 

BET Red Carpet 2015

I know I'm a little late on writing about the BET Award Red Carpet Arrivals and haven't really been active on here with the holidays but I'm gonna try harder to write a little something every week! 

So going back to the BET Awards, well what can I say, I expected more because this isn't like the Golden Globes or Emmy's; the BET Awards give artists a chance to be a bit more experimental, creative and have fun with their choices, but sadly this year no one really stood out for me and everyone played it safe. 

So I can't really say anyone was best dressed but there were a few (and I mean few) that were styled better than others.

Looking back at the red carpet there were a lot of dark colors, I mean it's summer! And this is coming from someone who only owns a few coloured items in her wardrobe! 

Although I think some took the summer trend palette a little too literal, with the bright colors and shapes that did not do them justice.
